GAUGE: 16 sts + 38 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Garter stitch (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

WRAP
With smaller needles and A, cast on 3 sts.
Row 1 Knit.
Row 2 K into front and back of first st, k to last st, k into front and
back of last st−5 sts.
Repeat last row 57 times more−119 sts.
Next Row With larger needles, k across.
Bind off all stitches.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
FRINGE
Cut 20 inches [51 cm] long strands each of A and B. Fold three strands of one
color in half to form a loop. Insert crochet hook through edge of scarf, pull
folded loop through. Pull fringe ends through loop and tighten. Fringe along
both increased edges of scarf, alternating A and B. Trim fringe ends evenly.
