GAUGE:
One Headband Strip = 1 in. [2.5 cm] wide. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
HEADBAND STRIP (make 3) With A, cast on 5 stitches. Row 1: Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, (purl 1, knit 1) twice. Row 2: Slip 1 stitch as if to purl, (knit 1, purl 1) twice.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until Strip measures 12 in. [30.5 cm] from beginning. Bind off. Repeat with B
and C to make 3 Strips total.
Finishing
Place 3 Strips on top of one another and sew together at one end. Braid Strips, and then sew
together at other end. Weave in ends. Cut ribbon length in half, sew one half to each end of
Headband.
